"Having just played Kinloch for the first time I can honestly say this is the #1 golf course in New Zealand. For those unable to play the great links courses of Scotland, Kinloch compares with the best of them, A tru links experience with Jack Nicklaus at his best"
Sir Bob Charles

Club description

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course rumbles across a dramatically undulating landscape punctuated by exposed rock. Its fairways are contoured and conditioned for ground play and flecked with disheveled bunkers. Nicklaus proudly states that there is no one signature hole on his courses. He prefers to have 18 holes of outstanding quality, and that is something he has managed here.

Location: Kinloch, Lake Taupo, New Zealand
Year founded: 2007
Courses: Kinloch, 6734 meters
Architect: Jack Nicklaus

Signature Holes

Hole #3 - 170 meters par 3

Consider the wind direction when selecting your club. There will be more bogeys than birdies on this hole so hitting the putting surface is your main priority.

Hole #15 - 224 meters par 3

Take note of the wind direction which will often be into your face. You do not want to finish short or left of this green so bear this in mind when visualising your tee-shot and especially when selecting your club.
